Environmental Policy
bda has a strong position on the environment, and has committed to doing all it can to minimise its impact on the environment, by applying the following company policy. Every little bit counts so we do what we can to be green.
Recycling
- The paper that we use in our office is 'Evolve 100% recycled paper'
- All used paper and most other office waste including cardboard, newspapers, magazines, empty paper cups, drinks cans and plastic bottles is recycled using Grundon Recycle
- We recycle all our used printer cartridges
- We donate old IT equipment for recycling or to not‑for‑profit organisations that redistribute it to developing countries
Reducing and minimising our impact
- All our company cars are diesel and where possible we try to use public transport or our own legs
- We switch off all non-critical IT equipment at night to reduce the amount of electricity we use
- We advocate the use of recycled papers or materials from sustainable sources when producing print for our customers. All our own stationery and corporate literature is produced onto recycled stocks.
