Who am I?
I'm Andy 'Hurricane' Johnson and I'm one of the directors of bda.
My Experience
From a creative background, my name was in lights during my first post as a sign writer. T‑shirts, sportswear and the occasional stress ball were all part of life before my transition to a marcomms agency, where, following numerous years designing literature, DM campaigns and web sites, I turned to the dark side - account management.
Now a strategic thinker with a creative brain, I thrive off the challenges that lay before me in this crazy world of marketing.
I compare good marketing to a pair of wonderpants (think Bridget Jones!) - Sometimes not flattering to look at, but protect your most valuable asset, and make your proposition far more attractive to your target market.

Outside of Work
Outside of work my time is split many ways:-
Father of two, husband of one. In addition to all the conventional channels I draw on whatever inspiration I can from Cbeebies and the Disney Channel. As you can appreciate, I get an array of creative ammunition when producing a pitch, strategy or solution from these sources!

Other Interests
I love rugby, football and simply any outdoor pursuit like surfing, yes surfing, walking, mountain biking and, with one half marathon under my belt, I suppose you could say a jog takes my fancy.
Eating, drinking, holidays, guitar playing, Wii‑ing - Nintendo style, oh and the occasional swim.
There, that just about does it.
