Personal Profile
Mark Stewart
Who am I?
My name is Mark and I am primarily a website designer and programmer who has chosen PHP as my programming language of choice. My main role at bda is to work alongside the web developers to help design and develop online systems for their clients
From clever content management systems, secure document storage to brilliant ecommerce stores, I handle all different types of projects.

My Experience
My background is primarily internet design, multimedia solutions and programming. I started off way back in 1997 as webmaster for the BBC in Central London.
For over 3 1/2 years I was in charge of designing, building and programming their internal intranet site as well as assisting in the design and production of their internal publication "BBC Broadcast".
Since then I have worked with a mixture of internet and design studios helping to develop their clients online and multimedia projects, working with the likes of SandSE, Kardex, BBC Radio 4, BBC Online, Peugeot, Nokia, CRCA, UnderOneRoof and Xerox. Being exposed to working with such clients has provided me with solid experience of working with large commercial corporations and getting to know what their expectations are.
I would consider myself a good designer and confident programmer.
I also believe I'm a great website architect, able to setup and structure internet based projects quickly, producing and introducing inquisitive features and functionality to projects. I also like to dabble a bit in Flash, creating sexy, smart and interactive presentations and CD-ROMs.

Outside of Work
As a bit of a workaholic, I don't tend to get much of a life outside work.
When I do, I enjoy entertaining my partner Michelle with my terrible jokes and comedy or being forced to watch a little too much "reality TV".

Other Interests
I'm a bit of a gadget and technology freak and spend my spare time online, checking out the latest and greatest happenings or humiliating Tristan on the Nintendo WII. Sport is really not my thing, though I do occasionally (when the water is warm) dabble in a bit of wind surfing.
