Who am I?
Hi my name is Rachael, and I'm a member of the bda web development team.
My Experience
After leaving the Royal Latin Grammar school here in Buckingham, I spent my days working in admin / office type roles and my nights teaching myself (X)HTML and CSS, building websites, writing blogs, tweeting and generally getting more and more into all things web.
It's brilliant to finally be able to do what I love for a job, and to work within a team of developers and designers who I can swap ideas with. The best days are the ones where we come up with totally new ways of delivering what a client wants to achieve with their website… not just because we get a happy client, but also because it adds to what we can offer all our clients next time round.

Outside of work
It's no secret that I love music. Music is probably my biggest passion in the whole world (yes, even more than front end web development). I truly believe that music makes the world go round.
I play various musical instruments, and I listen to music heaps as well. I try to go to as many live music shows as I can realistically afford, and I spend far too much time / money in HMV.
My favourite music is often produced by five-piece male-fronted rock bands, such as My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, Simple Plan, and Good Charlotte, though I'm also a bit partial to solo stars such as Ashley Tisdale, Rihanna, Britney Spears, and Michael Buble. What can I say - I have a broad taste in music!

Other interests
I've been into photography for a few years, and have a great dslr camera which I've put to good use! In fact, I've taken more photos than my laptop's hard drive can cope with. I'd really like to get involved in live music photography.
